Whether you’re chasing a PB, training for your next big race, enjoying a social run or simply looking for a great group of people to run with, there’s a place for you at uMhlathuze Athletics Club.
Based in Empangeni, the Crocs are a proud and active running community, bringing together runners and walkers of all levels through weekly time trials, Saturday club runs, races, training and social events.
Founded in 2001, the club has built a strong tradition of supporting its members on the road — from those taking their first steps with the club to seasoned runners tackling the Comrades Marathon and beyond.

Time Trials every Tuesday at the UAC Clubhouse at Addison Park, Empangeni.
Times: 17:30 in Summer and 17:15 in Winter
Distances from 2km, 4km, 6km and 8km routes.
Club Run every Saturday from 5 Ways Mall Empangeni
Times: 05:00 in Summer and 05:30 in Winter.
Time changes for all runs are communicated.
Please always wear reflective gear.
